	Sorry, e-mail doesn't seem to want to get through.... So,
	I guess that I should respond by saying that we've had the
	machine in question up and humming since March, no problems
	(major) until this kernel...

	Repeat: the error message that I'm getting on console every minute is:

		pc586watch(0):1 sec timeout
