I have been desperately trying to set up Minix to allow remote logins via
the modem on the serial port but I have not had any luck.  I know that the
/etc/ttys file needs modification but the manual doesn't explain (unless 
I'm missing something).  I tried changing line 2 to 1a1 or something but 
it still didn't seem to work.  All other combinations caused the Login:
to print off the console screen after boot.  The modem was connected before
booting - could that have anything to do with it?

Anyway, any info is appreciated.

Hardware setup:  Mega ST, MegaFile 30 (15 meg partition), SupraModem 2400

Also, is anyone else having trouble listing files on the dsrgsun.ces.cwru.edu
FTP site?  Any ls command returns:

ftp> ls
200 PORT command successful.
150 ASCII data connection for /bin/ls (192.31.215.204,3735) (0 bytes).
226 ASCII Transfer complete.
ftp>

The only file I can get is /pub/minix/README.  I can FTP to many other
places with no problems.  Any ideas?
