Sorry, Bill, someone may have set up an alias for you on your machine, but at
this site, we're still getting the old group as a unique group (ie, the notes
arriving in the two groups are two partially overlapping subsets of a larger
set;  some notes appear in one but not the other, and vice-versa, with some
notes appearing in both).  This would indicate to me that (at least in some
parts of the net) the old group still lives on :-).  Admittedly, I don't know
a lot about the nitty-gritty working details of notes, but if the old group
really doesn't exist anymore, why aren't they both the same?
