Note that Microsoft will license for FREE to commercial developers a Working Modem version of Windows 3.0, This version is a"crippled" version of Windows 3.0 that allows saving of only two pages of files and a limited number of drivers. It is supposed to be used to buil"demo" copies of Windows applications that can be run by anybody that does NOT have windows. All the currently Working Models for Excel, MS-Word and PowerPoint (?) are built tha way. The working copy will run only when used with the special Working Copy of Windows, not the real release. One can ask for the Working copy software calling the usual MS 800 number, they'll mail you a questionnaire and subsequently a license agreement. -- marco -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= "Xerox sues somebody for copying?" -- David Letterman -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
