	I'm looking for sorting/optimizing code to sort HPGL plot files
prior to sending them on an HP-7585B pen plotter.  The first order goal
is to sort by pen color to avoid un-necessary pen changes (ie. plot all
the red first, then the black, etc...)

	Preferably, public domain, C code, but I will explore any other 
suggestions.

	Since I don't read either of these news groups regularly, I would
