We cannot format scsi shoeboxes that contain md21 or md25 adapters and
esdi disks (wren VI, HP, Fuji, whatever).  We have to format them on
sun3's.  This appears to be the case with both sunos 4.0.3 and 4.1.

Can anyone corroborate this?  Is there a fix or a plan to fix the
problem?
