SUMMARY:  A few days ago I posted a request for help with file open
(read&write) failures with PC-NFS 3.0 since upgrading to SunOS4.1.
I received one reply from Gijs Mos (uunet!mcsun!bio.vu.nl!gjm) which
pointed me in the right direction.  I've applied Sun Patch-ID# 100075-03
[lockd, rpc.lockd, rpc.statd file locking] on the Sun3 NFS server.
This appears to be the fix.  Thanks Gijs.
