Some time ago, I used a program resident on VAX/VMS, which taught
touch typing.  The program used ANSI sequences to make the tutorial
truly interactive.

Has anyone seen such a program available for UNIX?

I would appreciate an E-mail response, as I don't ordinarily subscribe
to this newsgroup.
