I've got a couple of burning questions! 1) What is the numeric address for abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov? This is "newxanth", right? The UNIX machines here at UCSD don't recognize 'abcfd20.....', alas. 2) Could a wise one post the addresses (numeric and text) for the most frequented ftp sites that are referred to mainly by nicknames on the net (newxanth being a prime example) 3) The Big One---> If one is using a monitor, perhaps a SuperVGA multisync, that can display more than 640x400 plus overscan (say 1200x800) hooked up to an Amiga running 2.0 with ECS and all that, and you custom-define the blitter area to be 1200x800 (usually a scrolling bitmap), will this large, hi-res display display at 1200x800 on the monitor, or will it show 640x400 and scroll to show the rest? If the former, this is a time for major celebration. A3000 owners? CATS people? Many thanks in advance. If it's not too much trouble could you email me an answer (I'll post it if noone else does). See you at AmiExpo! Thom Cleland UCSD Biology cleland@sdbio2.ucsd.edu
