I have heard that there are some :places that sell these keyboards and that there is also a way to make an :adaptor that will let you use a PC keyboard with the 1000. Does anyone know :anything about this? I am looking for .any way. to hook up a keyboard to my :1000 and I am desperate. please send me mail AND post if you will, this :server is VERY flakey and I don't trust it to receive news. Thank you. We (NES, Inc.) sold a 1000->2000 keyboard convertor for a while when that trade in deal went into effect. I don't know for sure, but I think there are still a few left. If you'd like one, they're $14.95 plus $3.00 for shipping. the company address is: NES, Inc. 4660 SW Flower Pl. Portland, OR 97221 It should work fine on a 2000 keyboard. If you want to buy a PC style keyboard instead, the only one I know of that will work is the Northgate Ultra. Call Northgate ((800) 548-1993) to find pricing and such. You have to ask for the Amiga version, since the keycaps and such are different. Most other PC type keyboards will *not* work, since the keyboard data timing parameters are different. :theacct@ucscb.ucsc.edu :Dan Jasper Jalkut : :-DJ- :. -- -Bill Seymour billsey@agora ***** American People/Link Amiga Zone Hardware Specialist NES*BILL ***** Bejed, Inc.
