The only competition, IMHO, for the KX-P1124 is the NEC P6, no longer
a current model, or the NEC P2200 or P5200.  Those have the cleanest
graphics printout I've ever seen from a dot matrix printer, and their
prices are in the $350 to $450 range.  Take a look; to my eye the
print quality difference easily justifies the price difference.
