/com/stcode 1270036 displays the error text 
"couldn't find directory in pathname (stream manager/IOS)".
Sounds like the "plot" program is looking for a font in
a directory that doesn't exist ... now how do you go about
finding the directory "plot" wants? Maybe use "strings" on
the executable?
