Look at what happened when I went in to read the news a while back...

It's hard to believe that there's that much traffic in comp.sys.apple2--
especially when comparing it to rec.arts.startrek, which is probably one of
the all-time busiest newsgroups you can get.  What's more, the flamage seems 
to have died down a _lot_ lately.
 
Too bad for all of us that some people got sick of all the flaming, but don't
blame those people--would you stick around under those conditions?
 
(BTW, this is all based on hearsay; should I be grateful I wasn't able to 
 get back on the Internet for a month after school started?)
