I know someone else answered your quesion by mentioning a program. But, there is another way which for som may be easier, because you can do what is needed without getting any more software and learing how to run it. Start with an empty "AUTO" folder. Copy the ".PRG" files into the folder, one at a time, in the order in which you wish to have them execute. That is all. If you use a RAM disk, it should be first. Now, *I* will mention a program. If you want your AUTO folder to start a GEM program, you may have to use a trick. For instance, once upon a time, I wanted a floppy fixed up with 1ST_WORD word processor, so that I could just turn the system on and then 1ST_WORD would start. Sadly, it was not good enough to put the program 1ST_WORD.PRG in the AUTO folder. That did not work. However, there is a free program called "startgem.prg" that allowed me to get the effect I wanted. I copied STARTGEM.PRG into the AUTO folder last. And then, in the file A:\STARTGEM.INF (or C:\STARTGEM.INF if you use a hard disk) I had one line of text that named the program I wanted to run.
