Message-ID: <1990Oct9.000326.23444@onion.pdx.com> Date: 9 Oct 90 00:03:26 GMT Sender: jeff@onion.pdx.com (Jeff Beadles) Reply-To: jeff@onion.pdx.com (Jeff Beadles) Organization: Little to none. Lines: 27 I've been seeing a strange thing with TOS lately. When I try to drag a directory containing a directory called ".bak" to the trashcan, I get a message: "Invalid copy operation". To duplicate it: (I'm doing this thru GEM, but I'll give unix-like commands :-) cd c\ mkdir junk cd junk mkdir .jnk cd c\ Now, try dragging the folder "junk" to the trashcan... Is this a bug, or something that isn't legal? On a honest-ta-goodness-IBM-like-ms-dos-machine, it doesn't allow ".jnk" to be created... If you cd \junk, you can drag ".jnk" to the trashcan with no problems. Comments? Is there a "formal" way to submit a bug report to Atari? -Jeff -- Jeff Beadles jeff@onion.pdx.com -
