Lines: 24 OK, here's the situation. I have a standard HP48SX, with no expansion RAM (i.e. I only have 32K). It contains many files, some big some small, and I have about 5K remaining unused. Let's say there's a program that I want to download from my computer that is 9K in size. Well, there's not enough memory, so I go looking for something that I haven't used for awhile to get rid of. When I find it I realize that I have made some changes to it so I better back it up first. Let's say it is 8K in size. If I get rid of 8K, I will then have a total of 13K available for the 9K program I want to download. But, when I go to upload the 8K directory I don't want, I get an "insufficient memory" error! WHAT? Does this mean that the 48SX needs at least as much RAM available as the size of the object being uploaded? What if I only had three 9K objects, nothing could be uploaded individually. Something must be wrong here, could someone please help me out? I know there are workarounds, i.e. upload individual files in the directory instead of the whole thing, but that's not what I want to do!
