Anyone contemplating the HP48 serial cable for the ibm pc without the software should know a few things. 1. the 9 pin to 25 pin adapter is also not included. (the cable has a DB9 female connector on the pc end) 2. even if you get the software kit, the DB25 part of the adapter is female. Amiga 1000 serial ports are female. 3. anyone venturing into uncharted rs232 territory should have both types of gender changers and a null modem adapter. . Re: HP48 commands from remote host. A number of people have reported playing with this. No one has reported it being the least bit useful as a several key kermit command must be typed for every HP48 command typed. .
