The Solbourne has C-Kermit 4F(094) 19 Aug 89, SUN03 4.x as it's version number and our system is 4.03 OS/MP with the berkley extensions. What's happening, ie. I upload a 258 byte file to my Unix account after setting binary mode on the Unix side and after the transfer the file is only 255 bytes. When I tried bringing it back to test it, the program would not run, with DOS saying bad exe program. There's no problem transfering text files and also no problem downloading from our Unix system in binary mode, as long as it's not a file I tried uploading. For example executables from ftp sites come down with no problem. The pc kermit version 2.32 works but I need 3.0 or higher for our IBM mainframe and I'd rather only use one version if possible. Aynone have any ideas? Hey, who else would you expect to be responsible for what I say?
