Seems there are bunch of files in the directory and I don't know whether I need to ftp all of them or not, since I have limited disk space on UNIX machine. Also, is there any specific ftp commands while doing this? You only need emacs16a. Everything else is optional. Anyone did that before? Could you tell me what's the proper procedure to do that and get the Freemacs running on my PC (a 386 with 4M memory & 340 HD running MS Win 3.0)? Read the README.DOC file. Can Freemacs run as a non-window application within a window? Yes, as far as I can tell. Windows insists that it can't, but when I turn off full-screen and turn on window, it works just fine. Any comments on freemacs, compared with 'jove'? The biggest flaw in freemacs is that its max file size is limited to 64K. Also, there's its lack of undo. Other than that, it's in the same class as Brief and Epsilon. -- --russ (nelson@clutx [.bitnet | .clarkson.edu]) Russ.Nelson@$315.268.6667 It's better to get mugged than to live a life of fear -- Freeman Dyson
