Does anyone know:

a) If it is true, as a friend tells me, whether the Tandy 1100FD is, in 
fact, some kind of Panasonic.
b) If so, whether Panasonic manufactures bits and pieces such as 
static RAM and modems that will fit the Tandy.
c) If so, whether anyone discounts the prices of these items so that 
Radio Shack's peripheral prices can be circumvented.
