Hello netfolk,


I have an Apple 13" colour monitor on my IIcx, and notice that the area around
the display section of the screen is steadily creeping towards a blue-black,
and when a screen saver is operating, that the whole screen is also blue/black

&  I can see 1cm spaced scan (?), interlace (?) lines.

Does this augur doom for my monitor? Has anyone had similar experiences, and ar
e they a premonition of something worse to come. In my experience, monitors/vid
eo boards don't just stop, they dye in a flaming, smoking glory! I'd like to
avoid that if possible :-)


BTW, I haven't misadjusted the brightness/contrast, and I have degaussed the
monitor :-)
