Does this augur doom for my monitor? Has anyone had similar experiences, and ar e they a premonition of something worse to come. In my experience, monitors/vid eo boards don't just stop, they dye in a flaming, smoking glory! I'd like to avoid that if possible :-) BTW, I haven't misadjusted the brightness/contrast, and I have degaussed the monitor :-) Thanks in advance. ============================================================================== !
