I think that the problem lies in the low cost (read: low quality
control) floppies, not necessarily Apples drives. I have had
floppies that would not format on an IBM work fine in a MAC.
I would also suspect that SONY floppies (or other highly reliable
company's) would not have such a high failure rate.
Has anyone had any problems with SONY floppies?
