I am now in the market to buy one as cheap as possible, external or internal. Any hints on simple fixes to try would be appreciated, I already opened it up and looked for any obvious problems. I can get my hands on some junked 400k's if that will help. On a related note, is there anything wrong with the assumption that an internal drive can be placed into an external case and be used as an external? Thanks for advice, leads, and/or hard drive sales. ______ kscott@locke.mmwb.ucsf.edu
