I don't know the answer - but I do want to note that the MIPS csh has
many of the features of the Korn Shell.

It has emacs style command line and history editing (^p, ^n, ^a, ^e, etc.).
It has file completion, for commands as well as targets.  It is otherwise
a standard csh - so no functions or such - but the ui is similar to ksh.
