I have used that version for a while and thought I should post my experience. a) The patches went great, no problems. b) The RTS/CTS for the rs232 lines was good. c) I still had problems with the rs232 lines. No characters were lost and the system did not crash, but it lost intterupts (I think that is what it did) and required more key strokes to cause previous ones to be recognized and sent. It was very pronounced when using kermit. e) The system was generally more unstable than Bruce's kernel. I had to reboot the system due to hangs etc about a factor of 10 times more. f) The bpt trap did not return me to the monitor. I don't know what it did. g) Also, if kermit (or other software) opened a port that did not have CTS asserted, you could not kill the process until CTS was asserted. In conclusion, some of the changes were nice, but I have switched back to the original distribution due to the high number of system hangs. --Phil
