I note that there are no entries for sgi tape devices ! This is silly, since there are a number of wildly different sgi tape devices. Specifically, I need the values for the xmt zylogic tape driver running as a nr device, at all of the appplicable densities (1600 especially). Is there any application of bstream for bru ? Is there any quick utilities for counting bytes/blocks (at what blocksize ?) to determine the capacity of a tape device ? What is the tape size of a 1600 bpi 9 track tape ?
