The answer I get from our sales rep is no. This, however, makes no sense to me since there is a 150MB SCSI tape drive and a CD ROM drive on the SS490. If these devices exist on the 490 then surely a SCSI disk can. This is important since we feel that 2GB IPI is enough fast disk and that we would rather spend 15k (university price) on 4.8GB of SCSI disk than 12-16k on 1GB of IPI for expansion.
