The physics group that I work for is interested in obtaining some
workstations for data analysis of high energy physics data and we are
interested in hearing from user of Sparcstation 1+'s and other low end to
mid range workstations about their experiences. If anyone has ported
numerically intensive code (preferably written in fortran) from a VAX
system to a Sparcstation 1+ or equivalent Unix workstation,  we would be
interested in hearing about porting problems and relative performances of
the boxes . Thanks in advance.
