We have planned to buy some workstations for real interactive statistical
computing. Some characteristics could be
   * windowing: input in one window, model in another and output in third
   * quick, high-resolution graphics
   * capable for gathering and handling data, model evaluation and
     reporting
   * enough power to run expert systems.
Does someone have any experience, suggestions or comments on such systems;
both hard- and software? We would appreciate any information.
