Has anyone out there had much experience trying to read a 9-track EBCDIC
tape on a Unix based system?  The tape I have was written on an Amdahl.  I
have tried using "dd", "ansitape", and "copytape" all of which gave the
same result: a large number of NULLs interspersed with text, numbers and
