I know this has been discussed before, but I didn't need it then - do now.

How do I accomplish the modified libc.so.x.y.z trick that enables the use
of the DNS with 4.03 with 4.1?

I apologize for bringing this up again, since it was discussed before, but
I have not been able to find it in the archives.
