As part of this, I'm trying to move software to the new machine. One I'm having trouble with is ARC (Arc521). I had no trouble with it on the VAX, but on the Solbourne (and also a Sun 3) it just core dumps (segmentation fault) when asked to do anything more than just print the help screen. It compiles fine (no errors or warnings). It's been a while since I installed it on the VAX, so I thought there may be a newer version out by now. Has anyone got 521 (or newer) to run correctly on a Sun 3 / Sun 4 (Solbourne) machine? If so, would you tell me what changes had to be made, or (if possible) could I grab your sources via ftp? Please respond via email, as I don't normally read this newsgroup. | Internet: jmd@ee.umr.edu | M S - D O S . . . | | UUCP: ...uunet!umree!jmd | Just say "NO!" |
