I have rebuilt kermit from the sources and also used an older version
obtained from somewhere or other.  In doing binary transfers, I always
have to set the parity to EVEN.  This is despite running the connection
thorough two Telebit Trailblazer + with Kermit emulation turned on in the
"no parity" mode.  The local Trailblazer gurus can't figure it out and
have given up.
