The disk is set to drive the next drive number after the existing Micropolis 1558 and a new kernel has been built expecting two drives. What are we doing wrong ? Is there a hidden jumper on the MD21 ? Are some ESDI drives so incompatible ? Any help would be gratefully accepted since we need the disc space and our funds don't stretch to a new SCSI box. (We have the data for foramt.dat once format sees the drive !) Phil pjk@ee.hw.ac.uk pjk@hwee.UUCP
