Message-ID: <8268.9010060321@prg.oxford.ac.uk> Date: 6 Oct 90 00:59:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 26 Is there any company planning to implement a C++ compiler for the transputer? I have started programming in C++, but I would like to be able to generate code for the transputer as well. Maybe someone could point me to a comercial C++ preprocessor that would generate C code. It seems that C++ will be a great sequential programming language for the 90's and possibly it can be well adapted to deal with concurrency and parallelism with a good class definition. Is there any C++ transputer programmer thinking in this already? Is there any message passing system implemented in C++? Or any ideas for classes definition for messages, concurrency and parallelism?
