Message-ID: <1990Oct5.213756.2895@watcgl.waterloo.edu> Date: 5 Oct 90 21:37:56 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Computer Graphics Laboratory, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Lines: 26 I'm typesetting a document using psLaTeX (using TeX 2.95) to use the PostScript Times fonts. The PostScript Times fonts do not contain the \o character (the "o" with the "/" through it), so nothing is printed for it. There is a \o in the Symbol font, but even if I could somehow access it, that wouldn't provide me with a means of emboldening or italicizing it. I'd like to redefine \o to type the "o" of the current font (roman, italic, bold, etc) and overstrike with the "/" (lowered appropriately) of the same font. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the necessary details of TeX. If someone could send me a macro to redefine \o in this manner, I'd appreciate it.
