Message-ID: <1990Oct7.142308.34055@eagle.wesleyan.edu> Date: 7 Oct 90 19:23:08 GMT Lines: 10 I am relatively new in using TeX. I just installed emtex and it seems to work quite nicely for the simple things I've needed to do so far. I have colleages who would like to use AMSTeX on a PC in an environment like this. I noted that AMSTeX seems not to be distributed with the emtex package. I have the AMSTeX.TEX files from another system. Would it be relatively straightforward to load AMSTeX and generate a .FMT file, or is it complicated (and thus the reason why it is not part of the distributed package). Thanks for any advice you can offer.
