Please forgive me if this is a naieve or redundant question.

What's the best way to print dvi files on a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet II? 

I just downloaded dvi2lj.web from uunet, but I don't know what to make of it!

I have installed tex from sources, but I don't know how I am supposed
to process this. (I don't even recognize the syntax! it looks vaguely
like pascal pseudocode, but obvious things like web2c didn't work on
it, and I didn't find any instructions...?)

If you know of a better way than trying to get dvi2lj working, or can
otherwise shed light on this little mystery, please respond via
