Message-ID: Date: 11 Oct 90 17:06:10 GMT Sender: newsuser@lth.se (LTH network news server) Distribution: comp Organization: EFD, Lund Inst. of Technology, Lund, Sweden Lines: 17 We have a system with diskquota enabled. Some students have found a way to get more quota by storing in their mail file in /usr/spool/mail. We have thought of two solutions: 1. Enable quotas on the spool disk. Limits the problem but doesn't solve it. And, if a user get lots of mail... 2. Keep spool files in the users home-directory. Has the the same disadvantages. If you have any good ideas, email them to me. I'll summarize. -- Per Foreby Email: perf@efd.lth.se System manager at EFD, Lund Institute of Technology (Lund University) Snail: E-huset, LTH, Box 118, S-221 00 LUND, Sweden. Phone: +46 46 107492
