When I invoke sldialup to call the xenix machine I am running at 7-e-1, the Xenix machine is looking for 8-n-1, so I can't login. Does anyone know how to change my line disciplines for the sldialup session? I got into the xenix machine by using cu and running slattach with the same problem, the xenix is talking 8-n-1 and slattach is using 7-e-1. Also, when I tried to use the break (^B) to send a break to another system the sldialup exited and was hung. I guess the documentation is wrong on this one. If anybody can help, I would be grateful.
