I have installed both streams and layers using sysadmsh. When I attempt to use layers I get a message saying that a device file xt000 is missing. When I install streams there doesn't seem to be any stream devices created either. I'd like to start with two processes communicating over a stream or tli on the same machine and later be able to run the two processes on separate machines using a network between them. Am I supposed to create these special devices with mknod? Have I overlooked something? I would like to run layers on a 630 terminal connected to the SCO machine. Any info would be nice!
