If someone tries to call me after I have successfully polled a site they are able to login. If I tried to poll a site and it fails and then someone tries to call the modem does not connect. But, once I poll out again and it works the modem is ok again. This does not make sense to me. I have tried reseting the modem and then have the person call back but it still doesn't work. I have check the /usr/spool/uucp directory for any LCK files, but the device isn't locked (at least, not when the above problem happens). Any suggestions? Eric -- Eric C.
