I don't have an Orchid ProDesigner, but every driver I've tried on my Optima 1024 that was written for the Orchid PD has worked. These though... I can use all of the drivers in Real or Standard modes without problem (my oh my, 256 sure looks nice), but none will work in Enhanced mode. It also seems the SETUP.INF they included was different from the one that came with my version of Windows. It asks for the wrong disks when it tries installing the new drivers (it will ask for #2 when it really wants #4, or such). >Jameco 286 motherboard/AMI BIOS/2Mb RAM/2 20Mb Seagate 225's and I run >exclusively in standard mode. It never crashed on me while it was running.. just never booted up all the way in Enhanced (which *I* wish to use exclusively). It makes it to the logo screen, goes into text mode, and doesn't budge. Needless to say, I'm back using the generic 800x600 driver.
