(I'd rather run "someware" else than OS2:-) In order to let Windows in the compatibility box use the mouse, you have to configure *Windows* for standard VGA rather than some super VGA mode. OS/2 knows about super VGA if you have a driver for PM, but it always supports only standard IBM video modes for the compatibility box. You may have noticed, when using a super VGA driver for Windows in the comp.box that the screen is not restored properly when switching from Windows back to PM and then again to the comp.box. I am using Windows 3.0 sometimes (but rarely) in the OS/2 DOS box and the mouse works, when Windows is configured for 640x480 standard VGA mode.
