Keywords: fonts snf bdf openwindows Message-ID: Date: 5 Oct 90 05:17:42 GMT Sender: news@anucsd.anu.oz.au (USENET News software) Organization: ANU Department of Computer Science Lines: 17 Running on a Sun SLC, SunOS 4.1 Mixed X11R4/OpenWindows environment I have many TeX fonts in the SNF form for use with xtex, running under X11R4. In moving to OpenWindows the SNF fonts are no longer appropriate. I need to create the appropriate FB fonts for use with xtex under OpenWindows. This I can do using convertfont to convert a BDF font to an FB font. But I no longer have the original BDF fonts. Short of recreating or re-ftp'ing the BDF fonts is there any way to reverse the bdftosnf process (i.e., is there a snftobdf)?
