Suppose I've set up a StaticGravity window, and that someone proceeds to shrink
it using twm (or some other window manager).  A ConfigureNotify event will come
along that lets me know the new size of the window, but how is it that I can
find out that it's been shrunk from the left or the right, so that I can do
the right thing thereafter?
