the vt1200 x-terminal has proven to be a
real downer.  but now we have it accepting
graphics from xlispstat, xgobi, xdvi, so
we may live with it yet.

i have been unable to get the terminal
to handle the x11() driver from statlib.
X11 complains about a missing font:

> x11()
X Protocol error detected by server: font or color name does not exist
  Failed request major op code 45 X_OpenFont
  Failed request minor op code 0 (if applicable)
  ResourceID 0x200007 in failed request (if applicable)
  Serial number of failed request 12
  Current serial number in output stream 16

this is in the June 1982 version; happens whether i'm 
using sun or decstation as host.

any workarounds?  anyone else using the vt1200?
