Judith Snow is one of the driving forces behind the Centre for Integrated Education and Community at 24 Thome Crescent in Toronto. This is an organization that includes other well-known individuals, such as Marsha Forest, who has given a number of seminars here in the Denver area, in the areas of inclusion/Circles of Friends/MAPS/etc. On one of the occasions when Marsha Forest was in this area, Judith Snow and her husband came too. I heard her speak at an event sponsored by ARC/Colorado, and had a chance to briefly speak with her afterwards. > EA> Let me tell you a little secret. Sharon has a computer in her office, and on two or three occasions, I've encouraged her to get herself a modem and terminal emulator, so she can get online and meet some new people. (In fact, she could get a modem free from the Colorado Assistive Technology Project, so it wouldn't cost much.) But she hasn't quite gotten up enough steam yet to get online. I think she suffers from a mild case of Technostress/Technophobia. If you would like to encourage her via a friendly letter, please do. I'm not sure she'd appreciate my posting her address on BBSes, but if you'd like to mail me a sealed note I could send her, that would be fine. My home address is 2005 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO 80303.
