I had a guide dog about 25 years ago. That dog was super. As a matter of fact, so good, that I never got over it when she died. Also, since I entered the teaching profession and did not have travel as planned, a second dog was not necessary. However, I'm not sure that I could have gotten one anyway, because I would always compare that second dog to the first one.
