It's been many years since I've had Coq au vin or Sicilian pizza. The pizza we used to get when in New Canen, Connecticut in the Jewish italian sections. I haven't been to Conn in many years, so my memory isn't clear. I recall it as being a very thick crusted pizza dough that was almost as thick in the middle as the crust was. Coq au vin (chicken in wine sauce) is one of my brother-in-law's favorite dishes. 'Nuf said. As to the apple butter; my sister would like to make it, but none of her cookbooks have it. A recipe on how to make apple butter would be much appreciated. Cheers! Doug Howell Io80214@Maine.BITNET
